Custom Griptape

So, I have this skateboard, a Stereo Vinyl Cruiser.

Here it is

It's really fun to ride and I like it a lot.

But the bearings that came with the board are really bad. They don't give this board it's full potential.

So today I ordered a set of new wheels, bearings, bushings and some griptape.

And that gave me the idea to be a bit creative with the griptape and make a custom drawing or logo or something...

So I started to design some stencils to make when my order arrives and this is what I came up with.

It's a simplified version of the meme Me Gusta (wich is also my profile pic). "Me gusta" means "I like" in spanish and yeah, I think it would be really cool to have this as griptape. Also, because my girlfriend is half spanish, the spanish text would give this a little more meaning.

I will start making this as soon as my order arrives, wich should be by the end of the week or the beginning of next week!

Wheels: SEC9 9 BALL 78a 61mm CLEAR YELLOW

Bearings: Tracker speed ABEC 3

As you can see it features a lightning-bolt in the grip tape that can be removed.

Yes this is one good-looking board!

I will buy it as soon as I have the money for it. Kinda short on cash right now.

I hope to own one of these babies in a couple of months.
